Notes

Saw this upholstery fabric on Pinterst and thought It would make a great double weave cotton blanket.
Gonna try 8/4 first then may switch to 8/2 for a lighter weight blanket.
Draft worked up, ready to wind warp and weave.
Original draft required 8shafts and 16 treadles(on a countermarch loom a jack loom may be able to do a skeleton tie up)
Second Draft with the solid borders required a 12Shaft loom, but because the extra block is only on the edges an 8 shaft loom can be used by maneuvering the shuttle in and out of the edges on some of the picks.
If I do this again I will stick to the 8shaft version, lots of mistakes at the borders.
This is a hefty blanket, works great as a bed spread, 8/2 cotton would be better for a blanket.
