This is my own design on making a draft excluder. I used chunky yarn (100g is plenty) and size 7mm needles.
cast on 30 and stocking stitch to the required length. Mine is about 32 inches long.
I cast off 7 then knit 15 and cast off the rest. Fo leaving 15 on the needle. Reattach yarn and knit 1 slip 1 psso kni to end. repeat till 8 on needle (I think).
knit1 slip1 psso cast off 2 knit 3.
knit1 slip1 psso knit to end.
repeat till 3 left on needle then cast off on fo.
I matteress stitched it all the way up and I added a button from my stash.
I filled it with an old baby towel (easy washing then).
And Voila, Finished.
