I’ve had to order another skein of the main colour, which is a bit irritating. :( Hopefully I’ll get these finished as soon as I have the yarn though.

These mittens are finished and ready to give to my friend. I’m pretty sure that she will absolutely love them. They are a really sweet pair of mittens.

There are a number of errors in the pattern:
Yarn quantities - I have the correct gauge and the recommended yarn and I ran out of the Main Colour and had to order more. If I was making these mittens again, I would just use the contrast colour for the ribbing, and I think that would solve the problem.

On the mitten charts there is no key given for the black dot symbol used on the thumbs - I worked these as M1 using appropriate colour.

The key for SSK and K2tog is the wrong way around. / is K2tog and \ is SSK.

It would be helpful to note that you place 23 thumb sts on a holder, and that after casting on 3 sts above the thumb, the stitch count should be 72 sts again.

On the thumb chart, the decrease symbols on row 21 should not be there. The first decreases are worked on row 22 in order to decrease to a total of 8 sts at the end of row 26. Again, the SSK and K2tog are the wrong way round in the key.
