6-29-12 finished waist band
7-2-12 good portion of lace done, not quite to neck and arm shaping. Looks like I’ll need 8 button holes.
7-4-12 Right side done, false seam dropped in.
7-10-12 left side and back done
7-13-12 have been procrastinating a bit getting burnt out. neck band is done, struggled with seaming a bit but finally moving onto arms
7-21-12 finished just need to block and attach the arms and buttons.
7-23-12 blocked, seamed & buttons reinforced

Mods:

• Knit in one piece with a false seam.
• Alternating skeins just on the inside of the button band
• watch placement of buttons try to place at bottom of V
• I was going to knit together my hem but read up on it and have decided that would not be best as knitted hems tend to flip up. I’ll be sticking to Connie’s directions and will sew it.

Sizing:
- I’m getting between 11 and 12 st per inch blocked on size 4s, I like the fabric on 4s so I’m going to knit the size 41 even though other knitters are going down in size. I don’t want the buttons to pull or it to be too tight since this sweater is designed to have positive ease.
