12/25/08 - This little guy gave me FITS!! so, suggestions:

• stuff him before completing the trunk. Stuffing the stuffing down the trunk is No Fun.

• I thought I would like ribbed ears better than garter. I do not.

• The trunk looks best if the stuffing is thickest towards the body, and the tied off knots get closer together as they approach the end of the trunk. So of the three segments, the one closest to the body should be the thickest and longest, and the one closest to the tip should be the thinnest and shortest.

• Splay the hind legs pretty far apart to get him to be stable. I reset the legs several times before he would stand without tipping over onto his trunk.
