Rounds

I finished my rounds on a round 2 of the ribbing, the next row is the separating row, a “Round 1” row.

Knit an extra inch before the separating round. The baby will already be almost 2 by the time it’s sweater season.

At the end of the Back

Break yarn, leaving a long tail for joining shoulder seam.

I found a built in long tail for doing the 3nbo here (at the right shoulder) would have been nice and saved an end or two.

Neck

Picked up every row (size 1-2, and there were only 9 or so rows and 10 sts to pickup), the pattern flows perfectly from back through pickups to the front, evenly with no disruption.

The “perceived” beginning of round is at the left side, and the “true” beginning of round is at the right shoulder, as stated in pattern.

I didn’t place a marker (marker schmarker! :P )

I also had a significant gap between the back and neck on both sides. I closed it up when I weaved in ends.

Bind Offs

I used JSSB, worked in pattern, for all bindoffs. Very pleased with results.
