Decided to start something plain that I can knit on the train, in the car and during knitting meet-ups…basically whenever I do not need to concentrate on the pattern.

Cast on with 70 stitches. 20 rows on 1x1 rib.
Decrease 2sts every 10 rows until I get to 64sts.
Doing an afterthought heel, but not sure if I will use the same self-striping yarn or find a contrast scrap yarn for it.

Decided to do the afterthought heel in the Charybdis pattern.
