KAL’ing with my friend, Preeti, who is halfway across the globe in Vancouver!

30 Jul: Casting on! Used the blue as MC at first then realized I will end up with larger stripes of the lime green so I frogged what I have (about 40 stitches on the needles at that point) and restarted with the Mint Fizz as MC, Midnight Snow as CC. Looking good so far, but I am now worried about the blue bleeding into the green while soaking.

31 July: Three sets of stripes done, but hitting pause until I get progress report from my KAL partner.

8 Aug: Starting the 12th and final short row stripe. I hope I have enough yarn!

17 Aug: Done! Had just about enough of the blue to finish the last short row section. I could not block it properly since the cats don’t let me layout any knitting without them ruining it.
