Surprised even myself for knitting toe-up!
I wanted to use up as much of the yarn as I could and this is the best way I know how. It’s actually fun and I have forgotten how much simpler toe-up is.

JMCO 24sts
Using my rounded toe recipe in reverse.
Increase until 64 sts, then plain knitting until I hit 5.5 inches.
Start the heel increases and stop when I get 55 sts in the centre section.
Turn heel and knit until its back to 64sts.

Added 6 sts up the leg then 25 rows 1x1 rib on 2mm needles. Bind off using 3.5mm needles. Seems to be stretchy enough without having to fiddle with any kind of stretchy bind off.
