I found some pretty ribbing stitches from a dictionary, so I might use one of them!

I worked the sleeves flat for a slimmer fit. I did a few decreases to the sides to create shaping. Here’s a YouTube video I made to show how I do this on the Addi:

If M likes it, she can have it (she’s hard to please). Failing that, I’ll wear it!

Update: It turns out that blue is not her colour (who knew?).. that’s ok, I’ll make her another one in grey. At least now I know that she likes this style of sweater. In any case, it fits me so I’ll keep it.

About the yarn: Pretty good handle on it - smooth and soft. It works really well on the Addi, but is a bit splitty on handknitting needles. It also appears to be a bit of a grow-monster! The sweater grew width-wise and length-wise by about 12-15% after blocking. Luckily the stitches held their positions well and didn’t appear holey. After a day’s wear, the sweater is starting to show signs of pilling (mostly because I’m a tomboy in clothes!). Having said that, I think this yarn is great value for money and I would use it again.
