Today, I ‘Plaid’ about with Tartan!!! ;-)

I used the Addi Express Kingsize to make this hat. I like quick projects like this because it makes a great last-minute gift and will still have that personal touch. Lots of fun too.

This project would suit a worsted or aran weight yarn, but in this case I used fingering weight held double. The yarn is beautiful and fantastic for hats. It has a soft bloom that fills airy gaps in the stitches, plus it is incredibly warm without being heavy.

The pompom is all three shades of grey held together.

(The pink and the green samples are my first couple of attempts)
