My favourite jumper from Jigsaw, a cotton/silk blend, was losing its lustre and shape with too many washes (as you can see in the last two photos).

It was time to make a replacement.

As I was happy with the fit, I took the measurements and calculated the stitches and rows based on what I’d learned in Shirley Paden’s class on hand knit garment
design.

As I love little details, I included the contrast rib around the back of the neck down the front raglan edge and some Japanese lace pattern for the V-neck and the underarm seam from the Japanese Knitting Stitch Bible.
