Just cast on today. I had to go down a needle size to make gauge. Love this yarn. I think it is going to look great when it is done!
7 in. in Stockinette makes one inch.
1/20/15: Finished first 7 rounds and I am ready to start the short rows.
1/21/15: Finished the waist. I’m ready to put in the elastic and join the waistband.
1/23/15: Finished 4 of the hip increases. On my 3rd ball of yarn.
1/25/15: Finished the hip shaping and ready to start the legs. Of course, the one size 16” needle I don’t have is a 5US. So I’ve got one ordered. I’ll sit this project down until it arrives. Hopefully I can finish my sweater in the mean time.
1/28/15: I just split for the legs. I tried it on and it looks great! Just started the 4th ball of yarn. Think I am going to make these full length. I should have enough yarn.
2/3/15: Just finished the 3rd decrease on the leg. Once I finished the 4th, I’ll try it on to see how my progress is.
2/9/15: I finished the first 4 decreases. I tried it on it is just above the knee. I should have plenty of yarn so I’m going to make it full length. I’l repeat the 20 rounds before the last decrease once or twice and then make the cuff section longer. I’ll keep trying it on and figuring it out as I go.
2/13/15: First leg finished and I got the second leg started. I went all the way down to the ankle and I love it. I repeated the last non decrease rounds 46 times and then the cuff for 19 rounds. Can’t wait to finish. This is going to be a great piece to have for my camping trip in March. Will keep me nice and toasty in the evenings!
