I must have bought the wrong kind of beading elastic as i cannot get it to knot! Persevering and now trying another way to attach the strands to the ring. If this doesn’t work I’ll be looking for something else.

Done - just hope it holds together. I would certainly not use the elastic on another one (I want to do another Alan Dart mobile) but find an alternative that will knot! hopefully less glue!
