Hmmm, ist das ein Top für mich? Eher nicht…
Das Top ist nach der einfachen und gut verständlichen Anleitung schnell gestrickt und kommt mit dem Strukturmuster auch wirklich schön raus.
ABER: der Halsausschnitte sowie die Träger rollen sich übelst, da sie keinerlei Einfassung haben. Das Gleiche würde auch für den unteren Saum gelten, wenn ich den nicht gleich im Perlmuster gestrickt hätte. Und dieses “Gerolle” sieht an mir blöd aus, ist einfach nicht meins. Die Achselausschnitte wirken dadurch auch ziemlich groß. Vielleicht steht das einem jüngeren Mädel, mir nicht (mehr). Das liegt nicht am Pattern, ist einfach meine persönliche Meinung dazu.
Jetzt werde ich’s mal waschen, spannen und evtl. die Ausschnitte noch umhäkeln, und schauen, ob das eine Verbesserung bringt. Wenn nicht, dann wird halt geribbelt…

Das Spannen hat Wunder gewirkt. Jetzt sieht das Top so aus, wie ich es mir vorgestellt habe. Und ich kann es tatsächlich tragen…! Das Material trägt sich sehr angenehm bei diesen frühlingshaften Temperaturen (um 20°C) und hat einen schönen weichen Fall.

Nice and easy project, a clear written pattern and a pretty outcome - but is this a top for me? I don’t know…
I like the shape and the look of the structure in the upper part of the top. But the straps and the neckline tend to roll heavily, so it looks quite “unfinished” - it’s not my style, maybe suits a younger girl? (Not a fault of the pattern, just my personal preferences!)
Well, I will wash and block it now, maybe do a few rows of crochet round the arms and neck, see if the rolling will get better, and then will decide if to frog it or not…

Blocking has done the trick! The top looks like I imagined it now, and it’s a pleasure to wear it in this springtime temperatures! The yarn is very nice to wear and has a beautiful soft drape.
