Reusing frogged yarn from an old colorwork WIP sweater that was never going to be finished. The row gauge is slightly off, but I’m making it work.
The way that the colorwork chart notes the increases is a bit confusing. It’s not clear if the color changes should be in the base stitch of the inv increase or the created st, so I’m adjusting the pattern in each row slightly so the increases don’t disrupt the colorwork. It’s such a small detail, but I’m picky like that :)
I’m also using size 3 for the beginning and colorwork, but switching to size 4 for the body, keeping size 3 for the sleeves (see notes below on why). I’ll use size 2.5 or smaller for the neckline pick-up later.

I’m about 20 rounds through the colorwork section. I tried it on and the neckline is bigger than I prefer it, so I’m making a note here to decrease after picking up the neckline before starting the ribbing to get the neckline closed up a little better. I’ll probably increase the height of the neckline ribbing as well, tbd.

I finished the colorwork chart over the weekend and split for sleeves. I went back to finish up the neckline so I could get a better sense of fit. The neckline was WAY too big for my liking (even with ribbing as written) so I decided to pick-up and knit 160 (original CO amount) along the neckline then decrease like so before starting the ribbing:
Decrease Round: (K2tog, k2) to end. 120 sts
Then I knit one row with MC and switched to CC for the ribbing. The decrease round gave me the neckline fit I wanted, but I had to use Jenny’s Stretchy BO to allow the neckline to slip over my head and keep it’s shape.

I started a sleeve last night on US 4s and was not a fan. I’m switching to US 3 for a tighter gauge that also help mitigate the intense positive ease in the sleeves.

Finished knitting, just need to block it!
