I’m on Section 2 of the pattern so far and I’m enjoying the repetitiveness in the pattern. It’s nice to switch colors so frequently too because it keeps my interest.

Unfortunately, there are some typos in the pattern (at least the compact pdf). The one I noticed first that kind of threw me off was the color numbers in Section 1. It lists Color 2 when it should be listing Colors 4, 5, and 6 for the last three repeats.

The colors I chose are really bright and used in rainbow order. In hindsight, I wish I mixed up the rainbow order a bit. Oh well. I’m hoping when the piece is done and the MC (grey) is used more, the brightness will be wearable. We’ll see!

Just finished knitting today! I’ll be weaving in the ends this afternoon and blocking tonight.

This has been a fun project to take with me on my travels to SF this month. It was great for airport and airplane knitting once I had the repeat for my current section memorized.

The pattern has been updated to fix the typos I found in the first section, but I feel the instructions later in the pattern could still use some clarification, especially around joining section 3 to section 2 and beginning section 4’s instructions. If I was a beginner knitter, I think I would have trouble visualizing which piece goes where, what side is facing out, how to organize my sts on the needle, etc.
