My inner child made me do it. I wanted to try intarsia, so here it is. I am having a great time. The polkadots make me think of giant smarties.

I am also adjusting the pattern for a different gauge (20 st and 30 rows/10cm) that works better with the yarn I am using.

The yarn is wonderfully soft. I am very sad it’s discontinued. I definitely would have enjoyed knitting with it again. The fabric it makes is pretty dense though… This might not be the late spring/early summer sweater I had originally hoped to make.

The also sleeves turned out wider than I would have liked so I seamed them down to the right width with a crochet slip stitch. I will probably sew them again with a sewing machine when I get the chance, and cut to remove some of the bulk.

Lots and lots of ends to weave in…
