Crocheting for me is a stress reliever, mindless thing for me (mostly) when my brain won’t turn off - usually late at nite…every now and then challenging - if a new or complicated pattern. This particular one - rather mindless as the triple granny square stitch was the first thing I ever learned. I recently saw a crocheted blanket using this mitred granny square - where the granny only goes around 2 corners and then turns back on itself. I made 16 squares and got tired of the pattern (happens to me alot - I lose interest in the pattern), and I needed to make it a bit longer for a baby - I never like perfectly square blankets. I’ve always liked Lucy’s granny square stripe blanket but had never attempted it, so I added on stripes in the colors used in the squares. Every square has chocolate brown in it, so I bordered the last color in it to pull it all together….Hope ya’ll like it
