I made a start on Orbit’s head today. Not an auspicious start since I got to round 30 or so and decided to frog and start again with a smaller hook. Love the yarn so far!

I tried starting this again, made the eyes, then got stuck on the horns. It made me realize that I don’t really want to get proficient at making amigurumi. I was doing this just because of my challenge to finish pre-2024 WIPs this year. It’s just not my thing because I don’t find the result worth the effort. I’d rather spend my $$ on a cute Steiff dragon if I wanted to buy one for a child because I just don’t like the texture of SC stitches for stuffies. And this lovely wool yarn will make a better knitted hat cowl.

So, thoughtfully deciding to frog counts as finishing a thing, so I declare my goal complete!
