Using up thin & very thin “8 ply” acrylic yarns.
This was made to experiment with my strip method (usually worked backwards & forwards and joining to the previous strip at the end or beginning of each row) working from the centre of the work but keeping rows worked vertically (some worked from centre to top & others worked from centre to bottom). Keeping stitches all worked in one direction helps keep the work square & leaves no corner holes.
I’ve been using chainless foundation for starting each strip, but have found it changes the way the stitches sit at the edge, so in the method used in this blanket, those edges are scattered around the middle of the blanket mostly.
