Now that the Kool-Aid dyed fiber is all spun up and plied, I’m turning into a cushy, garter-stitch sontag (wraparound shawl) for chilly nights when our leash-trained kitty wants to go out and go potty. The colors are… interesting… bright here, murky there… so not something for the office, but plenty for the shawl I’ve been wanting to make. The pattern is ultra-simple, just four rows to keep track of, so very nearly mindless. Good for knitting in the evening after a long, difficult day at work. Or in-the-car knitting.
