When I saw this pattern, the name made me laugh. I wanted to make it - in spite of the fact that until now I’ve only ever worn A-line or circle skirts that flare out. The personal myth-busting aspect of this project was all about me accepting that I could look good (and feel good!) in a more form-fitting skirt!

The Simple Ass-Warmer’s gradient stripes are great - not only do they create a slimming optical illusion, they also allowed me the perfect opportunity to stash-bust some partial skeins of Lion Brand Wool-Ease I’ve had in my stash for years.

It was a fun project - and the finished product does keep me warm!
