When I was a little girl, this doll’s name was Elizabeth. She was one of my very favorites through my entire childhood, and I always figured I’d hand her down to my daughter. But, as it happened, my firstborn was a son, and when his baby brother came along, he wanted a baby to take care of too. So, baby Elizabeth became baby Eli. Obviously, baby Eli needed some clothes of his own. Orange was requested. I’m finally getting around to knitting some up, and “baby” brother is three. Well…life happens. Hopefully it won’t be another three years before I find some buttons. Still one of my favorite dolls ever.
