Notes

A Stitchnerd test knit for Susan Ashcroft. This is my first striped shawl, I believe. This pattern is great for using stash yarns. It would also be very good for using a variegated yarn that tends to pool because using the second yarn would break up the pooling. It would be interesting to try this with two yarns that tend to pool because they would both be broken up.

The shawl was easy to knit and the knitting went quickly. I kept wanting to knit one more row to see what colors came next in the rainbow gradient. This was a good use of this rainbow gradient…I had not been able to figure out what to knit with it. I’ve had the Ultra Alpaca in my stash for a very long time. It may have been some of the first yarn that I bought after I started knitting.
