I love The Raven Cycle Series by Maggie Stiefvater, and my favourite character in the series has to be Noah. He’s quite funny and charming with a dark past… okay, it now sounds like I’m writing a romance novel. Fear not! I’m not going to do that.
When I saw the pattern, my Mom and I thought of Noah immediately. I ended up getting this pattern for free, and thought it might go well with my Grad (Prom to all of you Americans) outfit, so I decided to knit it. Who knows if I’ll be done in time.
Also, as a fun fact, doing this in a fashions class my friend is taking has now lead me to earn credits for completing it. Which is pretty cool if you ask me.

Modifications
- I used a Knitting Cast rather then a Cable Cast
- I still don’t understand what the whole dominate colour thing was about, but just ignore it if you are using yarn that has more then one colour in it.
- This isn’t a modification, but the wording of the pattern and some of the text placement is kind of hard to understand for someone who is newer to patterns.
- I can’t remember if the pattern said to block or not, but I didn’t block it. Didn’t think it was necessary since this is all done in garter stitch.
