I am knitting up the cobweb as a 2ply on needlesizes 3mm (2,5 for the ribbing) this way i get a rather loose but still close fabric.
It is taking ages though!
3.5mm on the body. loads faster ;)

i discovered i was too sceptical about the pattern and didn’t read it well enough, i am talking about the wispy. Thats why i was knitting both sleeves at the same time. i decided to do a three-needle bindoff to connect them for the shrug part. it is of course a visible seam but that way i didn’t have to pay attention to knit one sleeve exactly like the other….
My references are the wispy cardi and the minimalist cardigan not sure which one i will end up making.
I have a totally different gauge than both patterns specify, so i have to change everything anyways.
Starting on the sleeves gives me some more time on deciding how to go on with this cardigan…

such beautiful spring/summer weather outside, i have to abandon my grey wintersweater project and revisit this one again! i am still not too sure, which one of the two patterns i will end up making, but i just managed to knit about a cm on the sleeves…

i am nearly done, soon!
another modification of mine on this pattern; i add a short (probably 2cm) ribbing border all around the cardigan, and then it should be done!

i am done! finally!
i think, i used up one of the twoplycones, so about 1000m….
it is quite nice, lets see how it wears…
