Finally adding my notes.
I used 8 ply/DK wool with a 3mm hook. I used nearly 100 grams of yarn. I cut about 32 cm of wire. I used 3 stones in the base to weight him. He still likes to fall over. His name is King.
King stands 26cm tall. The flat marbles I used for his eyes were about the size of an Australian 10c piece.
He looks a bit off centre before you do the leg shaping but have faith, he will straighten up.
Pay careful attention to your tension when doing the ears!!! I made three ears and they turned out three different sizes.

Love King and I’ve had some great feedback about him. Looks hard but he’s probably one of the easier patterns from little owls hut.
