M is definitely on the larger side. Started the crown after about 8 cm, and since I felt that even this would make the hat too big, I accelerated the decreases by decreasing every round rather than every second round.

Hat ended up fitting my spouse rather than me. (I’m a hat size 54 with really short hair.) So maybe if I want one for myself, I’ll need to make a large child-sized version.

Memo to myself: This FO turned out nice and even, but I still don’t like Magic Loop.
