Notes

CO 64, using a variegated yarn I “inherited” from Feloris.

This pattern is really nice. It’s simple and repetitive, so it can get a bit tedious - but on the other hand you don’t have to think about it much, so it’s a good pattern for knitting while watching TV (or when I can’t concentrate well because of chronic pain issues). And the result is really satisfying.

Making a short-row heel, though, because I just don’t have the spoons for a heel flap ATM.

This is the first sock pattern that (for whatever reason - I suspect the pattern of purls & ktbl) does not result in even the smallest hole where the sock joins up again after finishing the heel! WIN WIN WIN WIN!

Memo to myself: 14 purl ribs top to heel; 13 purl ribs heel to toe.
