Did gauge swatch, went down a needle size to 4mm.
I wasn’t sure about this yarn but it is a dream to work with. Soft, drapey and perfect for this design. Love this colourway. The pattern is very easy and the method of construction is very interesting.
Making a medium as I don’t want it to be too baggy.
Finished sewing shoulders and binding off sides.
Just have to pick up neck and hem. On the home stretch.
Started a new ball of yarn for each quadrant and used the remnants for the finishing. Worked out perfectly.
Used size 4mm needles throughout even for picked up edges.
Love this sweater! Surprised more people haven’t knit this top.
After much debating, have decided to reknit this sweater shorter. The hemline is just too long and gives a more tunic feel which is fine with tights but not with Jean’s or wider leg trousers. Just not getting the look I want.
Starting deconstruction.
Decided to make a size small and cast on 87 stitches to adjust the length. Restarted June 1
