We are back in another national lockdown so can’t commemorate remembrance as normal so I’ve made a string of poppies to display in my window instead.

Started with a magic ring and substituted dc sts with htr sts in the first round in order that my poppies lie flat.

Used black yarn for the poppy centres so that I don’t need to add buttons.

10 poppies weigh 21g.

Poppy centres made with ‘1st choice double knitting’ yarn which I couldn’t find in the database. (It’s very plastic but it was all that I could find earlier this year when I needed some black yarn so I bought it out of desperation!)
