While this was a fairly easy knit, I found the pattern instructions a little on the vague side. It’s not specified which increase you’re supposed to use, or how many stitches remain after increase rows. I ended up using M1Ks and M1Ps after the first stitch in each increase row. Still, the finished shrug is very nice and I bet I’ll be knitting this pattern again. I’d love to knit one in a lighter yarn for the summer.

I lengthened the sleeves, decreasing down to 36 stitches, then continued until the right length (I left the unfinished sleeves on stitch holders until after blocking and with the seams mostly sewn, then finished knitting the sleeves when I could try them on). I did 9 rows of garter at the bottom of each sleeve, rather than 5.

I did one extra repeat for collar.
