I purchased the Doodle Knit Directory and want to make this owl. The feet will be gold the body heather heathers black for the ears and eyes. Since I am not good at duplicate stitch, I tried a technique that I made up. I cut black thread for nose and eyes in each section of the owl. When completed, I tied them off.

The top of the head I will carry 3 yarns at a time
