This chicken is the new fad in the knitting world. It seems like everyone is knitting one. So I feel for this fad and I am knitting one as well.

After 3 failed attempts at the tail, I think I am getting it.

She goes on about the short rows which is easy peasey for me. It is the direction of the short rows that baffled me.

I love the video but the bottom of my chick had major issues. My grandson, Leo, could barely care. So doing this one different. The next one will be done correctly. I just gave up at this point. The seaming was no problem. I will make another one. I usually have problems with a first Glad my grandson will care less. Putting the crown and waddle no problem.
