I am using up my stash Quince & Co and doubling up the yarns. I have been on instagram and viewing so many beautiful chickens. Many have bright reds, blues, golds and oranges.

When I connected the 2 feathers, I wanted a smooth transition so I did Kitchener Stitch. Here is an excellent video.

Before the green mark K2tog slip marker K you now have the pink parker ssk 2tog. I do not like to move a marker up another row. I did this to make it simple. Looks much better and no one know where K2tog/ ssK are. I also like the kitchner stitch for tail; it looks totally seamless

I put the 6X6 bean bag at the bottom and filler her up. The instructions are geat with the crown and waffle. Stitching her up is always a challenge. But she is a beautiy
