Barry is a wonderful host and he visits our guild once a year. The drive is far but worth it. We ladies: Jane, Rilla, Dani and I had a wonderful time so the ride was great talking with my knitting friends.

I purchased some yarn and made a baby top. Then I purchased this yarn. I had no idea what to do with it.

Well Stacy came to the rescue with her pattern. It is all knit yea and tons of short rows yea. I do german short rows so have to count one stitch up.

Directions:
Using the long-tail cast-on, CO 16 stitches.
Setup Row: K across 16 stitches
SHORT ROW REPEAT
Row 1: K 13, w&t
Row 2: K back across 12 stitches to the end of the row
Row 3: K 11, w&t
Row 4: K back across 10 stitches to the end of the row
Row 5: K 9, w&t
Row 6: K back across 8 stitches to the end of the row
Row 7: K 7, w&t
Row 8: K back across 6 stitches to the end of the row
Row 9: K 5, w&t
Row 10: K back across 4 stitches to the end of the row
Row 11: K 5, pick up the wraps knit to the end of the row
Row 12: K back across all 16 stitches.
Continue working Rows 1-12 until you’re nearly out of yarn, or your scarf is the desired length.

I live in San Diego and took a plane to NY. While knitting this scarf, I lost my needle. I asked my husband to send me another set so I could continue knitting this scarf. I have no idea where this scarf will go to. It is a small project and great for trip knitting.

My friend Dani purchased this yarn in blues and made a traveling sweater that came out so beautiful.
