CO 122 sts; knit flat with intarsia.

When teachers request hand-knit items, frankly I cannot say no! Especially when they tell you exactly what they want :)

I knit almost a whole hat before realizing that my picture looked kinda weird in one spot. Didn’t really have a great way to rip out, especially since I’d already woven in a bunch of ends, so I had to knit it twice! Second time worked out great, and I decided to only knit the C but save some headache by doing the U B and S as duplicate stitch. It saved a lot of time and ends.

I didn’t have time to block it, as the teacher was retiring and leaving school today. He declared it a success, immediately put it on though it was very warm out, and told me he would wear it to Wrigley Field!
