I’ve been wanting to do this pillow edging - one of the reasons I learned to crochet. I would give the pattern five stars, it is clearly written and illustrated!

I bought the fabric awhile back and realized recently that it would make a great pillowcase since I wouldn’t have to cut it up. The only problem is that I didn’t buy enough for pillowcase. And also, I didn’t remember where I got it!

I’m a little disappointed with the way the edge of the fabric rolls under. I’m not sure if that is because I didn’t follow the pillowcase part of the tutorial in order to have a more stable edge, or perhaps it is because I crocheted too tight. Otherwise, I think it turned out nice :)

I did not measure my yardage but it was definitely under half a skein. The only problem I had with the yarn was after pulling a long piece through constantly for the blanket stitch, it was completely untwisted.

Very quick project! Maybe will make some as Christmas gifts in the fall.
