I am using the yarn from the first attempt at this pattern. I really didn’t like how it came out. So I am making my own pattern from the basics of this pattern.

I went down to a J hook.
I will make it solid, no rows with spaces.

Sleeve Length
I did the first 10 rounds, solid and measured how long the sleeve might be. It was just right, to my elbow. I knew it will get longer.

Sleeve Width
Next I did 4 more rows on the other 5 sides, checking to get the width of the upper sleeve for the thickest part near the armpit and shoulder

Body Width
I did 4 rows for the back and bottom sides. Then 4 more rows, changing the corners to (1DC,1CH,1DC) to reduce the pointed corners.

Back Width
I did 2 more rows for the back before joining to give it more roominess.

Border Ribbing
Bottom = 6 rows
Front and neck = 3 rows
