I am using size 7 needles for garment size Large.

04-22-2019

I am making good progress. However… the instructions threw me off and I thought the back should not be in the textured pattern. Therefore, only the front of the garment is showing the texture! I reviewed the remaining instructions and it seems to say that the remaining area should also be in the ‘pattern’, but the picture clearly shows that the texture area is only in the mid-section. I will continue the pattern as shown in the pictures.

I added an interesting texture to the bottom.

05-05-2019

The length was too short so I ripped out the bottom and changed it back to stockinette stitch with the blue as the final border. It fits beautifully and the yarn is so soft. I am very happy with the outcome.
