18/8/15 - Yet again, I am thrilled to be able to test a pattern for Frank. I watched this one grow during creation and of course just HAD to test it! Either way, I knew I would make this one!
Now normally I use a size 4 or 5 hook on most of my projects. This pattern calls for the use of larger sized hooks - 9 & 10.
OMG! I feel like a newby trying to learn how to hook all over again! I was all thumbs! And using double strands of 8ply just added to the fun!
Anyway, by the time I got the hang of it, I was at the end of row 4 and called it a night.
21/8/15 - this pattern works up really easy…even if you take the casual approach. I’ve photographed every couple of rows or so. This is now at row 27. Currently it’s about 2m x 1/2m but I am yet to repeat the pattern on the other side. So part one - finished!
24/8/15 - currently at row 46. Almost finished the test phase.
25/8/15 - testing phase completed. Now just to do the otherside of the blanket to make them even!
14/9/15 - I have completed the opposite side now. Took my time with this but could have easily completed it sooner.
