Testing again for Frank. I’ve been looking forward to this one and have had my yarn for weeks waiting for the test! Eager much!!

I’m hoping that my colour choices will make this look like its on fire.

Upto round 10. Colours are looking good! Pattern is easy to follow….when I read it right!

07-01-2016

Completed to round 23. Work got in the way a bit the last few days so slow progress. Rounds at this point are easy as the pattern is repeated.

09-01-2016

Upto round 29

14-01-2016

Round 40 - a friend saw it at this point. She likes it and said it made a refreshing change to the normal square/rectangle blankets!
It’s ruffling at this point….almost like there are too many stitches but my count is correct. Hopefully it will flatten with the next rounds.

20-01-2016

Speed slowing down a touch here as concentration is required. Chip urgently on round 49.

26-01-2016

Round 56…..back on easy street as pattern is relatively easy and repeats without having to concentrate too much but remember two count!

29-01-2016

Round 60…..crochet speed has come to a screaming holt - much like being stuck in peak hour traffic! Really need to concentrate on rounds 59 and 60 or you could easily stuff things up. Definitely count these two rows as you do them and it’s a good idea to use a place marker on your pattern. Whilst it’s repetitive, you can easily make a mistake!

Annnnd…..its finished. This is where you can quite easily extend the pattern as Frank indicates in his instructions but I chose not to. Its a nice size as it is.
Enjoyed doing this one!!! Next!
