Weeks 2 and 3 now done. I am following the colours for the merino pack. Week 2 was supposed to be purples but I didnt like the combination of colours so I switched them. Have gone back to the colour choices for week 3. Got to do weeks 4 and 5 to catch up.

Completed week 4 today. Colours are starting to look good together and its growing on me.

I haven’t been very diligent in keeping this up to date but the pattern has been flowing quite easily. Some sections obviously require a little more attention than others but you get that in just about any pattern you do!

I’m now on the final stages, just completed part 16. The sun is setting on the madness - 2 more stages for completion.

Today I completed the madness but now I’m gonna go insane! Another member extended the mandala to square it off…….and of course, I just have to do it!

Final round of the madness……936 crab stitches! Urgh!
Unblocked it measure 1.64m across.

The Madness has come to an end! I need to block it, take some photos and update my notes.
I added Ineke Mooijenkind’s boarder as I much prefer square blankets/afghans to round ones.
