I followed the English version of this pattern on the Bernat website, and found it rather confusing. For starters, there was too many increases in the first few rows, producing a wavy “not flat” circle. I ripped that out and made fewer stitches in the second and third rows (I very much dislike circles that are not flat!) I actually omitted the last “shell” row as well. When it came to making the flower “petals,” I could not figure out how to single crochet towards the middle of the flower (I even found and watched a video on this project on you tube) so I just slip stitched all the way in and out. Worked just fine for me! End product is lovely and I plan to make some for friends and family! :D (and apparently they also make excellent cat pillows, hehe)
