This is such a cute little pincushion, but I have to say it turned out smaller than expected. I will have to look for a larger variety of walnuts, and carefully crack them open… I lost a few halves in the process of making these (but ended up with quite a lovely snack at the same time!) Overall a cute little project, I might consider selling these inexpensively at a craft fair someday if I ever decide to do one!
