06/04/2011 - 8 Repeats for the first ball. Started 2nd ball. Should be 12 repeats all together, but going to make it longer I think…. to use up yarn.

11/24/2011 - Going for 16 repeats to use up more yarn and make the shawl bigger then will start the border. Am at 15 repeats now.

03/08/2012 - Finally decided to pick this piece up again to finish it. Cast on lace edge with size 5 US. Knitting edge with 5 US.

03/20/2012 Minor setback. Made a mistake and couldn’t fix it. Starting again. This time, cast on lace edge with size 6 US. Knitting edge with 5 US.

07/12/2012 There is a blooming error in this damn pattern. The calculations are off on sewing the border on. I did 16 repeats instead and recalculated the border according to formula, but the formula only gives 18 stitches to ease into each corner. That is not enough stitches. And on the tops and bottoms of the shawl, it’s a 1:1 ratio instead of a 2:1 ratio. ARRRGHH….. but almost done!!!

07/13/2012 Finished, blocked, but don’t have a real good picture. The ones on here will have to do….. Sent to mom!!! Hope she’ll like it.
