Using Toho Rocailles 8/0 Silverlined Siam

The start was difficult for me because I did not quite understand the way the pattern is constructed. Apart from that, the instruction is clear and comprehensive.

In row 91 I noticed a mistake in the center of the 3rd repeat, about four rows below. It took me three hours to fix it by unraveling a few more than the stitches involved down to the mistake onto a second needle, then sorting everything out and re-knitting it with said second needle. The worst thing was getting the beads out of the knitting without unravelling the whole lot.

I hope I’ll be able to finish the shawl before July 29th, because I’m invited to a wedding and would like to wear it then.
