At first, I wanted to knit with the yarn stated in the pattern. But then, an oddment of Posh Natasha Lace was found, which seems to be just the right amount for the Moonwalk. I started with it, and although it is slightly finer than the original yarn, it looks good so far.

Although the pattern repeat of chart 2 is only six stitches long, it requires some concentration. I have made mistakes quite often and had to work back slowly to the beginning of a row several times.

The first clue is over 86 rows, that is A LOT! of knitting. It took me more than the one week assigned to it. The second clue comprises only 16 rows, it’s a breeze in comparison. I finished it in three days.

In the third part, I added some beads, about 10 grams of TOHO Rocailles 8/0 in colour Crystal Gold Lined. It looks (at least in my opinion) amazing. ;-)

I finished the shawl off on July 7.
As I worked with 4mm needles and a finer yarn, the dimentions are on the smaller side. The shawl measures 160 cm along the neck edge and it is ca. 67 cm high.
