This garment was inspired by the “Seven Sisters Pullover” in Interweave Knits Fall 2013. I liked the colour, and I liked the crossed lines.

Unfortunately, I did not like the rest of that garment, so I set up to design my own version of crossed lines. This is the result.
The welt pattern matches the seven lines, they “grow” out of the welt. The lines do not bashfully run and hide under the arms. They are the main feature of the garment and run proudly up to the shoulder. The rest is a simple, plain set-in sleeve sweater.

The yarn, Betsy from Posh Yarn, is a dream to knit. Soft, but quite sturdy, and the machine likes it.
